Light Up The Night Holiday Celebration in Downtown Pleasant Hill
Santa is all set to arrive on December 3rd to join in the many festivities in Downtown Pleasant Hill, including the lighting of a 25-foot decorated tree next to the Clocktower building on Crescent Drive at 6:00 pm! Music, dance performances, and caroling will be on two stages in both of the Downtown plazas.
Everyone is invited to celebrate the start of the holiday season with free horse-drawn carriage rides, and free cookies, hot chocolate and coffee, starting at 5 pm. Families can have pictures taken of Santa and his merry elves, and look out for Frosty, Rudolph and other holiday characters.
Don't forget to search for "Elf on the Shelf" at many of the Downtown merchants, with great prizes to be won.
A Holiday Crafts Fair begins on Crescent Drive at 4 pm with lots of wonderful holiday gifts on sale. If you wish to be a vendor, call Allison Klippel at 925-788-9677 or email her at baybre@sbcglobal.net.
This event is jointly organized by the City of Pleasant Hill, Downtown Pleasant Hill and the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce. For more information, call 925-671-5229 or email mnelis@pleasanthillca.org.
