Pleasant Hill City Council Candidate Forum

The Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce will host its 2026 City Council Candidate Forum on Wednesday, September 23, bringing together candidates for the two City Council seats appearing on the November ballot for a moderated public discussion at the Pleasant Hill City Council Chamber at City Hall.

The forum will begin at 6:00 p.m., with members of the public invited to attend in person. Doors to the Council Chamber will open at approximately 5:40 p.m. The forum will also be available through the City of Pleasant Hill's YouTube channel and will be recorded for subsequent broadcast on local access CCCTV.

The 2026 election includes contests for two seats on the Pleasant Hill City Council. In District 3, incumbent Mayor Zach Shess is seeking reelection and is being challenged by Jason Seto. In District 4, incumbent Councilmember Sue Noack is seeking reelection and is being challenged by current Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District Board Chair Quy Tran.
Residents may submit questions in advance to the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce by emailing candiadateforum@pleasanthillchamber.com.   Members of the audience attending the forum will also have an opportunity to submit questions after doors open and before the live forum begins.
