Walnut Festival Celebrates 80 Years of Giving with BBQ Fest
Fundraiser being held Saturday, January 16
What: The Walnut Festival Association celebrates its 80th year of giving to East Bay communities with a delicious fundraising BBQ Fest. This year’s BBQ Fest replaces the annual Crab Feed, due to Northern California’s closed crab fishing season. The family-friendly evening includes BBQ dinner, raffle prizes, silent auction, and a chance drawing for the Grand Prize television.
When: Saturday, January 16; 6:30 p.m. no-host cocktails, 7:30 p.m. dinner
Where: Pleasant Hill Community Center, 320 Civic Drive, Pleasant Hill, CA

About the Walnut Festival Association: For the past 80 years, the non-profit Walnut Festival Association has attracted dedicated volunteers from all walks of life, who join together to serve Contra Costa County by raising funds through community events. The money raised from these annual family entertainment events is donated back into the community to support recreational, charitable, and educational programs and facilities. The Walnut Festival Association events also provide a means for service and charitable groups to raise money to support their specific organizations.
