Canvas and Cabernet

For today’s #membermonday I would like to introduce you to Julee Winterbourne of #Juleewinterborne. She is the founder of #CanvasandCabernet in Walnut Creek. Canvas and Cabernet is available to host great parties for all ages to come in, sip some wine, paint and have a great time.  They recently moved to a new location at 1444 South Main Street in Walnut Creek. It’s a quaint spot, located along the creek, so the view of the trees in the space makes for a calming and tranquil environment. Julee is also available to come directly to you for your next office team-building event or a Girl’s Night In. Everyone loves to paint!

Julee was visiting a friend in Colorado back in 2010 and saw the paint and sip concept at another location and was immediately taken. She knew this could be the answer to her love of painting and her desire to help others see the fun and “releasing side” of painting. She spent two years writing her business plan and doing research before she opened the doors of Canvas and Cabernet. For Julee, it has been an incredible experience to provide a place for others to express themselves through painting—all while sipping with friends, making memories and most importantly lots of laughter.

Julee’s mission when creating Canvas and Cabernet was to bring people back to themselves through painting. She finds great joy in helping others find their true passion. Through her entrepreneurship she has discovered her own problem-solving skills and has found a way to share them with others.

In addition to Canvas and Cabernet, Julee also holds space for her #reclaimingstudios where she offers 6-week classes focused on journaling, guided meditation and painting. Julee also has other online courses and pop-ups. It’s a great way to connect!

Julee grew up in Pleasanton with one brother and many half and step siblings. She has found the Chamber a great way to network and connect with others to create power partners such as event and wedding planners. She has hosted countless bridal parties. Julee loves the outdoors and hikes with her dog Stella who is blind. They have quite a connection! She loves to garden, paint, watch her daughter perform ballet and other productions. She also enjoys live music. When I asked her what her most memorable concert was she said Van Halen! Who knows, I may have joined her many years ago at some of those concerts. :) She also really loves Dave Mathews. She has been to over 15 concerts and has caught two drum sticks. She enjoys Mexican food and is currently reading Real Artists Don’t Starve.

Julee would love to host your next office party, Girl’s Night Out/In, or just YOU coming to #reclaimher or #reclaimpleasure.  Go online and check her out at canvascabernet.com or juleewinterbourne.com. Julee can also be reached at info@canvascabernet.com or 925-287-1614.

It’s a time to reconnect with yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Thank you, Julee, for sitting down with me to reconnect, share your passion and enjoy some laughs.
