For today’s #MemberMonday I had the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. Fred Dietzen of #EvokeSpinalCare located at 140 Gregory Lane #195, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. You can visit his website at https://www.evokespinalcare.com/.

Fred established his practice in April of 2012. He has recently added some new members to his team. Rabia runs the front of the office and works with patient in/out take. She is always there to greet you with a smile. Cynthia is the newest member of the team and she is there to add to the vision of the practice in providing many modalities to serve the mind, body and spirit. Cynthia is an energy healer and a #reiki practitioner and is very intuitive. Together the three of them will work to provide their patients with optimal body/mind alignment.  Fred is #passionate and #motivated to help people grow personally and transform their lives with advanced healing techniques. Fred plans to continue adding to his team in order to meet the needs of his patients who want to use multiple modalities of holistic healing and nutrition. Stay tuned.

Fred graduated from #SanDiegoStateUniversity with a degree in Finance. He loves to serve others and help them be the best they can be. When I asked Fred “Why” he changed from finance to chiropractic care he told me a story about himself.  Fred was involved in a car accident back in 1995 where he was catapulted through a windshield. He suffered major injuries and as a result he had surgery on his back and both knees. He had a long road back to recovery and it wasn’t until 2004 that he found #ChiropracticCare for himself. He saw the transformation of his own mind and body as he began to get off pain medications, lose nearly 50 extra pounds he had put on and he began to sleep better than he had in many years. It was as if he discovered gold. After this discovery, Fred felt and internal calling to help others experience this same life transformation. He quit his finance job and began his journey. He has never looked back or regretted his decision to change careers as he feels he is serving a much needed service to others with his holistic health practices.

Fred was born in #Washington and later moved to #Stockton where he grew up. Fred is the eldest of 3 siblings. He lives in #PleasantHill with his wife and three children. Fred loves to be involved in the #PleasantHill #community and surrounding areas. His involvement with the #PleasantHillChamber has given him an opportunity to sharpen his skills in the areas of #leadership, #visability, #growth and building strong relationships that have turned into friendships. When asked if he could go anywhere he quickly answered, “Brazil - Rio de Janeiro”  Fred spends countless hours on his practice and when he's not at work he is busy being an unpaid #Uber driver for his kids. He loves the #beach and the #mountains and if he had to choose one he would choose the maintains. His most memorable concert is #TheBeastieBoys! He could eat #Mexican food everyday and loves to read. Right now he is reading several books; The Big Leap, Think and Grow Rich and The Energy Codes. He says readers are leaders!

Fred is in the beginning stages of creating a non-profit foundation to serve #veterans.
